California Adventure with Cousins and Uncle Wishing
STARTING EARLY? NOT SO EARLY AFTER ALL
July 13, 2018. Matthew. We started later than we wanted. I woke up early at 5:30 am and was ready by 6:10 am. Everyone else were still sleeping. I woke up John at 6:10 to go shower and everyone else woke up later.
Matthew John showered second and said that he would be done in 10 minutes but actually did in 30. We went to the lobby to have breakfast for around 30 minutes and got back to the room.
Uncle Wishing showered last and started packing. By the time we were done, the girls were still getting ready even though Ashlyn said last night in the McDonald’s that we were most likely to take a long time getting ready and by the time we were done, they would already be at the park. We got there at around 9:30 even though we should’ve gotten been there at 8:00 as originally planned.
THE ATTRACTIONS
We went on the new Guardians of the Galaxy Ride, “Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout!” that replaced the Tower of Terror. After that, we went to the Frozen Live at the Hyperion. It lasted about an hour.
We then went to the new Incredicoaster. When we got there, they said it was closed and ‘might’ open in the afternoon. We had fastpasses and they said that we could use them for any ride at any time. So we proceeded to the Silly Symphony Swings for another 1:30 minutes.
TURKEY LEG LUNCH
At lunch, Uncle Wishing ordered 4 turkey legs. One we shared with Uncle Wishing, myself and John John, another for Ashlyn, Lauren, and one for EJ and Dottie, and the last one for Matthew John finished one all by himself. Uncle Wishing then got a small vanilla milkshake, medium chocolate milkshake, and a banana split. We were so full!
ATTRACTIONS: SOARIN’ AROUND THE WORLD
We didn’t want to go to any extreme rides because we just just ate lunch so we when to Soarin’ Around the World. An announcement was made that the Incredicoaster opened and a large line had formed. It was 2 hours but since we had the fastpass for it, we cut the whole 2-hour line and jump to the front of the line. Thanks to FastPass.
ATTRACTIONS: TOY STORY MIDWAY MANIA
We then went to Toy Story Midway Mania with our FastPasses and I beat Ashlyn 🙂 because I had the better score. The group split up and some of us went to Goofy’s Sky School as single riders because it was faster then going into the normal line.
ATTRACTIONS: GRIZZLY RIVER RUN, CARS
We rested until we could use the FastPass for Grizzly River Run. We were joined by with Robyn and her friend. The raft for it had 8 seats and we had the perfect amount. At the end, Matthew John got soaking wet and we went to Cars Land. The line for Cars was for an hour long so we decided not to go. We ended up taking pictures.
a long day
After leaving Cars Land, we went to Downtown Disney and went to a souvenir store. Lauren bought a key chain for $5 and Matthew John got a T-shirt. After that, I know we went for dinner, but I do not have any recollection. I think I must be sleep walking, when I woke up, I was already home in Arcadia. zzzzzzzzz…
